Mike Lamonea

I have consistently defined myself as a public servant…both personally and professionally. As a dedicated husband and father of four, I’ve never witnessed a time in which there was a greater need for strong, experienced, and thoughtful leadership to ensure the successful futures of our families, Commonwealth, and nation. Whether protecting our families as a Special Agent and leader within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or serving our communities in various elected, appointed, and non-profit leadership roles, I will always stand for what’s right and lead with strength, integrity, and transparency.

Mike will continue to ensure parents have a voice in their children's education, protect classrooms from political agendas, and expand mental health resources for students. He will keep fighting for the highest educational standards and work to establish a regional career center, giving students more opportunities to pursue their passions.

Mike will work tirelessly to support Governor Youngkin's plan to lower costs for working families by permanently eliminating both grocery and car taxes.

As a former federal law enforcement leader in our region, Mike has seen firsthand how criminals threaten the safety of families and neighborhoods. In Richmond, he will stand with law enforcement and ensure Virginia remains tough on violent crime.

Mike will oppose efforts in Richmond to force data centers and solar farms into our communities. He will continue to support localities and citizens in having the final say over how their land is used.

As a current elected official, Mike has ALWAYS been responsive to the needs of our community. As a Delegate, he will hold regular office hours in Chesapeake and Suffolk to ensure every constituent's voice is heard.
