Parents know what is best for their children. As the only woman and mother running for Congress in Virginia’s 10th District, I offer a unique perspective and experience. Education is paramount and it is critical that each parent has a choice as to how their children are educated.

I am unapologetically Pro America and Pro Constitutional Rights. I stand for values that we can all get behind. I arrived in the United States as a legal immigrant. My family and I came to the United States for a better life and to live the American dream. While my husband was a full time student, I worked hard, saved and provided for my son to get the best education and go on to serve our Country in the United States Navy as LCDR. That is the American Dream.

Freedom is not free and it must continually be protected. I understand that many have come to our country for a better life but most importantly for liberties expressly spelled out in the Constitution of the United States of America. Far too many career politicians in Washington have traded freedom for political expediency. Instead of being most concerned about protecting and preserving the Constitution, politicians have been more concerned about lining their pockets with endorsements from out of state special interest groups and globalists.

I will champion Women’s Rights and will proactively stand against infringements on women’s rights. The rights that we worked so hard to achieve are now being fundamentally challenged.

I recognize that each individual is made in the image of God. I support the protection of all individuals and hear the concerns of parents for the safety of girls in schools whether in the locker room, the restroom or even competing on the sports playing field. Young children are no longer being taught the basics of reading, writing, math, and science in the public school classroom but are being called to question gender identity and the biological gender each one is born with.

Children deserve the safest and most competitive environment to learn the basics. Politicians in Washington and locally are playing political football with our children. The goal should be quite simple, but when special interest groups take control of the dialogue around education, the best interests of children are dismissed and they are irreparably harmed.

Across our great nation, there were protests calling for the removal and defunding of police. I stand with our courageous police officers who keep our communities safe each and every day and put their very lives on the line to protect us. Supporting our police officers never provides a free pass for mistreatment of citizens. Just as voicing concerns should never lead to the malalignment, killing, hatred and defunding of our men and women in blue.

National Security is one of the most pressing issues facing America. International terrorism, in its many forms, is a grave threat to our country. Russian, Chinese and Iranian aggression must be faced with strength. I am pro America through and through. Our military strength and Border Security are the cornerstones of our National Security. With a strong military and secured borders, our nation is safe and it reassures our allies thereby enhancing world peace and prosperity.

I support our country’s veterans. Veteran benefits and services too often fall short of meeting the needs of veterans and their families. Veterans oftentimes struggle to meet their basic needs. About 4 Million veterans live from paycheck to paycheck. Many veteran families live on less than $50,000 a year. About 20 veterans commit suicide every day. Additionally Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the department that provides many veterans health care to include suicide prevention, consistently has struggles under poor management.

The American Dream is your right to become prosperous and successful without government interference. Achieving the American Dream is done through your hard work and not the government’s work. I am a strong believer in the government staying out of the private sector. To quote Ronald Reagan, “Government isn’t the solution to our problems. Government is the problem.” The government’s role is to ensure a fair playing ground for businesses to operate.

As a legal immigrant, I understand what it is like to arrive in a new country with high hopes for a bright future. My husband, son and I came to the United States to not only receive quality education but to give back to our great nation. I went on to work for our federal government and instilled a desire to serve in my son who serves in the Navy.
