A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Adele has long focused on fighting for justice for all Americans. Adele has done street outreach and HIV prevention work, served as an assistant to the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr., advocated for charges against violent white supremacists after Charlottesville’s 2017 “Summer of Hate,” and led legal observer teams to support those exercising their First Amendment rights. Most recently, Adele worked as a lawyer. She assisted in conducting sensitive internal investigations and advising individuals, companies, and nonprofit organizations facing allegations of misconduct. Put more simply, Adele helped sort out the facts in messy, often high-profile situations and determine the best course of action.
