I’m running for State House of Delegates in Virginia’s 62nd House District, bringing to the table experiences gained as both a beef farmer and a local public servant. As a believer in small government, I started my public service on the local planning commission for several years where proposals for land use ran the gamut. This was followed by going on 14 years on the Madison County Board of Supervisors, ten of which I have been honored to serve as Chairman. From budgeting to education, from energy to water, the issues we’ve dealt with have been many and varied, confined to Madison or regional in nature.
